Quinoa Risotto

A simple quinoa risotto recipe for one that is easy to make, super tasty, and can be made in under 20 minutes. Quinoa is very nutrituous and a great source of protein and fiber. You can also easily add additional ingredients to make your bowl of quinoa even more enjoyable. If you want to make more servings, you can increase the quinoa and broth with a ratio of 1:2 (quinoa:broth).

  • 14 cup — Royal Organic Quinoa
  • 12 cup — Chicken Broth (Unsalted)
  • 12 cup — Monte Bene Garlic Marinara
  • 14 cup — Italian Blend Grated Cheese (Parmesan, Asiago, Romano)

Step By Step Instrucitons

  1. Add a 14 cup of Royal Organic Quinoa and 12 cup of Chicken Broth to a small cooking pot. I use a small 1-Quart Farberware Stainless Steel Saucepan.

  2. Turn heat on HIGH until boil and then lower heat to simmer for 12 minutes. Keep an eye when bringing to boil, as the pot can easily boil over.

  3. After simmering for 12 minutes, mix in 12 cup of tomato sauce and cover for 5 additional minutes.

  4. Finally transfer everything from the saucepan into a bowl and add 14 cup of grated cheese. Mix together while it’s still hot so the cheese melds. This recipe is so easy to make, try adding additional ingredients to suit your taste buds. Enjoy!
